I understand you are featuring The Victoria Secret Fashion show at 9 p.m. eastern on Thursday night. I have a lot of respect for and enjoy the great majority of your programming. However, I am disappointed and alarmed that you would feature a show like this, no matter how popular it is with young men between the ages of 16 and 30 or whatever demographic you are aiming for. I would think it would be more fitting for cable networks and shows with more questionable standards and taste; or someplace where soft porn is expected and acceptable to those viewing it. Please keep in mind that women and young girls- my daughter is 15 – are constantly being subjected to Victoria Secret commercials with unrealistically thin women with super breast syndrome and nearly stripping for the camera. Don’t get me wrong. Both my daughter and I shop at VS, we just don’t appreciate having breasts and hips thrust in our face in our everyday life. We try to turn these commercials off but you have to agree a 30 second commercial is hard to turn off when it take you 10 seconds to register that this is on. This is smut for the masses, and I’m just sorry network TV feels it has to go this far for ratings sake. WE will not be watching it.
