Top model Karlie Kloss has no ribcage

What happens when Photoshopping is done to hide a model’s extreme thinness?

Jezebel took the words right out of our mouths with their article last week regarding Numéro magazine’s release of a Photoshopped image of model Karlie Kloss. This particular model hasn’t been Photoshopped to appear thinner (as we so often see in the world of magazines) but instead to hide the startling prominence of her rib cage.

Jenna Saueres writes, “Most consumers seem to accept the idea that models are skinny. But they don’t like to be confronted with images that show the consequences of being that skinny in a realistic way.”

  1. A lot of the fashion I see in childrens clothes stores is terrible these days, I recently took my daughter out and about looking the other week
and saw several t-shirts featuring playboy bunnies designs.
How can they possibly think this is really appropriate for a six year old girl?
