We’re about to have some fun and make some meaningful change together!
It’s time for About-Face to begin our Take Action program, where we bring 7-10 teenage girls together (without drama) to take positive, productive action against media that makes us think that we’re not good enough and to encourage ourselves and others to make a strong statement that girls deserve to feel great about their bodies, their talents, and themselves.
It’s 1 1/2 hours per week in San Francisco on Wednesday afternoons. Each week we’ll do an activity about media and body image, then you’ll start brainstorming your action. (Don’t be scared! We’ll help you feel comfortable and confident!)
