Monetary donations are not the only way to donate to About-Face! Here’s our wish list of some items and services we use in our work, and we’d love it if you’d donate them either new or used! Donations of new items are tax-deductible and we will send you a receipt. Contact us if you’d like to donate!
To make your donation, you can mail it to us, drop it off at our office in San Francisco, mail it in to us, or we can come pick them up from you in the San Francisco Bay Area.
New or used items
- Working Apple Mac laptops (made after 2008)
- USB postal scale for shipping that is compatible with Macs
- Mailing labels for laser or inkjet printer (Avery or other type): 2″ x 4″ (Avery 8163)
New items
- First class stamps: “Forever” stamps or other stamps in any amount
- Buy stuff we need from About-Face’s Amazon Wish List
, and a percentage of the sale will also go back to us!
- Staples gift cards for office supplies
- BookSense (independent bookstores) or Amazon.com gift certificates
- iTunes Store certificates (itunes.com) to buy media we cannot get easily on the web
Professional services
- Refreshments, coffee/tea, groceries, or flowers for events or meetings (contact us first!)
- Location for events (large or small)
- Printing of promotional items (custom logo pens, banner pens, etc.)
- Printing and discounts on professional printing (brochures, letterhead, business cards, T-shirts, posters, bumper stickers, buttons)
