Christina Kelly, editor-in-chief of YM, says impressionable teenagers already hear enough about "trying to look better." She made the remarks on public radio's On The Media program recently. Kelly says the magazine has plenty to write about without including fad diets and weight loss tips for girls. She also said YM doesn't only feature thin models with fantasy measurements: a size 14 model appeared in a prom fashion spread. Maybe this will start a trend.
