Here's a question: are there men's magazines that don't objectify women? Being a guy I'd like to find one. Especially one similar to Esquire (just without the borderline porn)

Has anyone heard of or seen Men's Vogue? What is it like?

I totally agree, Megan! Any objectification of women is horrible, and it is awful that they admit to doing it, yet still do it. Ugh!

Hi Julian,

Thanks for your honest response!

Just because you find a famous woman attractive, does that mean that you need to buy magazines with them half-naked on the cover? Or could you seek out other information about them, like interviews? It would be great if you could be interested in these celebrities, but not have to buy magazines that objectify them. I feel that this just feeds into the demand for these magazines, therefore creating a vicious cycle.

Being more open about objectification doesn't make it any less horrible. I feel like it makes it worse. They know what they're doing is wrong, they've admitted to doing it, and yet they still continue.

I feel like there has to be a way to say a woman(or man) is attractive without objectifying them. Like, there are famous women who i will admit to finding attractive, but that doesn't mean i forgot they are actual people too.
