If you haven’t heard of or watched Smart Girls at the Party, you will now, and you will love it! Actress Amy Poehler’s web series is inspiring in that it urges young women to express themselves in ways that show their intelligence and ambition instead of their appearance. And her two best friends, Meredith Walker and Amy Miles, are in it too. The tagline is “The show that celebrates invididuals who are changing the world by being themselves,” which is so refreshing and encouraging for girls. This show aims to provide young women with positive role models and celebrate the REAL you! I teach Ethics at an all-girls college prep school in Manhattan, and so much of my course reflects this idea and REALITY of "Smart Girls at the Party!" I've watched a few episodes and think they are great! Very encouraging and one-on-one which feels more personal and real to the viewer. I love Ms. Poehler; she is so confident and kind.I just have a question; how do we submit questions? My niece asks.
