What We Think:
“We at Glamour think your body is fantastic. Tall and gangly, small and busty, muscular, curvy, soft or sinewy—we celebrate it all.” —Glamour
This article takes a positive approach to women’s body confidence and insecurities. While acknowledging that many women are still unhappy with their bodies, it also highlights that many women are learning to love their bodies—especially young women. The article features nude or near-nude glam shots of three women who share their personal experiences with learning how to love their bodies—and especially the physical features that don’t fit the standard, idealized beauty model’s. The women look beautiful and sensual in these pictures, but they are not objectified. They look completely happy and confident. And confidence remains sexy no matter what kind of body shape is popular at the moment.
